Job Description

Title: IT Project Manager (With Specialization in Software
Implementations)
Team: Systems and Technology
Purpose of Job:
Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and scope. Oversee all
technical and non-nontechnical aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and control the progress of project. Prepare and publish reports regarding status of project. The candidate needs to work with stakeholders such as management, functional teams, vendors, internal teams, etc. to ensure the right solutions are designed and deliverable fall within the applicable scope, timelines
and budget. The candidate also must conduct market research to gather information about latest trends and solutions.
Job Components/Responsibilities:
 Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for planning and the flawless execution of projects
 Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
 Assist in the definition of projectscope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
 Conduct detailed evaluation of solutions and vendors and facilitate decision making
 Ensure resource availability and allocation (internally / externally) in order to meet project objectives
 Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
 Organize project review meetings and regular update of project status to the stakeholders
 Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
 Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
 Report and escalate to management as needed
 Manage the relationship stakeholders and ensure set goals from the project are achieved
 Perform risk management to minimize project risks
 Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
 Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
 Meet with business stakeholders to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
 Track project performance,specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
 Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
 Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
 Use and continually develop leadership skills
 Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
 Perform other related duties as assigned
 Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Qualifications:
Degree / Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology
Or
Degree/Diploma in any stream and Project Management Certification

Experience/ Core requirements:
 Proven working experience in project management
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
 A formal training on Project Management (CSM/PMP/PRINCE II)
will be beneficial
 Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work
experience

Other Requirements:
 Basic Knowledge of Software Systems
 Experience in managing projects for companies in financial
services industry will be beneficial, however the same is not
mandatory
 Knowledge of digital solutions and latest market trends with
respect to IT will be beneficial
 Experience of managing software implementation projects will be
essential
