Human Resources Director Job Description

 Responsibilities:

  • Guide and manage the overall Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll Administration Policies and Programs
  • Develop and manage performance management programs, organizational development, and performance improvement policies and tools
  • Compensation and benefits administration including processing of bi-weekly U.S. payroll and annual open enrollment
  • Effectively onboard new team members ensuring that team members have an amazing onboarding experience
  • Produce and educate management and employees on new policies
  • Manage employee relations issues for staff, including coordinating and engaging with Operations and Management teams in various office. In conjunction with legal department if necessary, ensure compliance with U.S. and international labor laws, supporting audits as necessary
  • Manage the development and implementation of company HRIS systems
  • Conduct internal investigations in the event of an employee complaint
  • Lead development and execution of employee engagement and retention strategies, plans, and initiatives including the design and implementation of a training, mentoring and professional development and succession plans for team members
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

 

Requirements & Preferences:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resource positions
  • Must be able to work both hands on and supervising the work of others
  • Extensive experience in compensation, employment laws, organizational development, organizational planning and employee training & development.
  • Effective communication skills both orally and written
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources providing leadership and excellent coaching and mentoring
  • Above average computer skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS Systems
  • Experience in administration of compensation and benefit programs
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Superior organizational skills
