Our client is a full service event management company with offices in Bengaluru and Chennai and operational capability to produce events across Asia. Our client is a new age event management company that is not just your outsourcing partner for event planning and production, but also your extended brand partner.

Our client is looking for  Business Development Executive for Bangalore location.

Role: Business Development Executive
Role Definition- Business Development Executive is one who is responsible for generating revenues for Company’s Events by sourcing contacts and converting them into contracts.

Tasks & Activities
Data Sourcing and Management
• Sourcing accurate contact details from online sources like Linkedin, Fundoodata, Google search and from offline networks of the decision maker of events from the HR and Marketing departments of companies in the business of Smartphone, Ecommerce, IT product, IT services, FMCG, Pharma, Insurance Co, Banks, Travel & Leisure, Apparel brands, Airlines, Education Institutions, Automobile dealers, Telecom, Jewelers and Real Estate
• Maintaining the database on the internal templates of the organization

Sales Meetings
• Preparing for meetings via structured research about target client
• Having effective sales meetings in order to:
o Understand the events ecosystem of the client
o Position company as the best choice for the client
o Generate requirements for events from the client
• Sales Proposals
o Create presentations based on the client requirements
o Co-ordinate with the operations team to generate proposals and pre-event P&L
• Sales Conversion
o Negotiate win-win deals
o Maintain profitability index as per management guidelines Client Co-ordination
o Write emails professionally to record all discussions with the client
o Be the interface between the client and the operations team from contract to completion of event

Measurement Metrics
• # of meetings per week & per month
• # of accounts converted per month
• Revenue generated per month

Working Policies:
• 5 days per week
• Have to be present for events during the weekend if required
• 9.30am to 6.30pm

Payment Structure: Fixed
• Fixed Salary Range: Rs.60,000/- to Rs.1,00,000/- per month based on experience of candidate

Past Professions of the candidate:
• Business Development in Corporate Event Management Sales
• Minimum experience of candidate: 3 years
• Needs to have a results track record of revenue generation of Corporate Events and existing client network
