Application Support Engineer
Location- Bangalore, Rotation shifts
Only Male candidates
Primary Support – Global
Monitor production environment (servers and applications) to proactively identify production issues.
Identified issues to be logged into Incident Management system and tracked through the Incident life cycle.
Provide Level 2/3 support for all domestic and offshore system alerts.
Perform alert root cause / trend analysis and implement alert Incident reduction programs.
Provide level 2/3 support for all escalated incidents (not necessarily be alerts) from L1 Support.
Resolve incidents within the SLA timelines, working closely with internal (L3/IT etc.,)and external (Client & Vendor) resources.
Participate in new product roll outs, maintenance releases, testing, documentation and operational improvement projects
Minimum 3 years of Application/Product support experience in monitoring and supporting critical production environments. Graduates or Diploma in computer science or related field. Technical experience in the following is required: Microsoft Operating Systems, Networking and Internet Technologies, MSSQL/MYSQL Database systems, Scripting skills, Web Servers IIS/Apache and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task. Strong communication, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts Prior experience in Healthcare industry (Hl7, EMR , HIS) would be an added advantage
